Google Inc. Impact Challenge
Posted in Announcement | Tagged Funding
The Impact Challenge aims to support new ways of approaching problems and improving people’s lives through the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The program seeks proposals from across a range of social impact domains and levels of technical expertise, from organizations that are experienced in AI to those with an idea for how they could be putting their data to better use. Proposals should address how they plan to use AI to combat social and environmental challenges. Selected organizations will receive support from Google’s AI experts, Google.org grant funding from a $25M pool, credit and consulting from Google Cloud, and more. Grants will range from $500k to $2M over 1 -3 years, but will ultimately be sized based on project needs.
Only one organization may be the applicant of record, but we welcome and encourage collaboration – especially between technical and social sector experts.
Eligibility:
- Must be a nonprofit organization, public charity, or for-profit business with a project that has an explicit charitable purpose.
- Each PI can only submit 1 proposal.
