Program: Pioneer Faculty Research Awards
Goal: Provides research and teaching support to investigators by enabling them to explore their research interest using a distance-learning framework with international high school students. Courses that are interdisciplinary or internationally oriented are of particular interest. One semester and two semester academic courses are both eligible.
Amount: $24,000 over one year

Program: 2018-2019 Clinical Research Mentorship Program
Goal: Supports the next generation of clinical researchers by funding a mentored research experience for medical students. Applicant must be a past or present DDCF principal investigator; have identified a medical student to mentor for one year; and must apply as a team.
Amount: 10 awards of $70,400 each over one year for each team, including a $30,000 stipend for each medical student mentee

Program: AGA-Elsevier Pilot Research Award
Goal: Supports investigators at any career stage performing research in gastroenterology- or hepatology-related areas. The objective is to aid early career investigators in establishing their research careers or to support a new research direction for established investigators.
