The Office of Regulatory Affairs facilitates research integrity in the design, conduct, review and reporting of research, and promotes adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and professional and ethical standards.

The Office oversees many medical center and university-wide regulatory areas, including Conflict of Interest, Institutional Review Boards for studies with human subjects and the Georgetown University Animal Care and Use Committee for animal research, and manages the process for adjudicating allegations of research misconduct.
